I collaborated with immersive art studio Marshmallow Laser Feast and composer James Bulley on a series of audiovisual installations for the HEAL Institute, a speculative research laboratory spanning an entire floor of the Museum of the Future in Dubai, dedicated to the Amazon rainforest and the ecology within.
I worked directly with James Bulley in the making of the spatial music score and sound design for the circuit of installations across the museum, ranging from highly-detailed recreations of the Amazon rainforest with 3D speaker arrays, to the wrap-around screens and dynamic sound design representing the effects of different species on their ecosystems. My main responsibilities included the creation of audio assets and their implementation in Wwise, as well as assisting in the spatial mixing of pieces utilising 30+ audio channels. Furthermore I collaborated in developing a bespoke spatial audio recording setup for use in the Amazon rainforest.
